The UCSF MLK Building Research Core is located within a former high school on the National Register of Historic Places, 5 blocks north of the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland Campus. The MLK Building Research Core contains numerous scientific instrumentation in the areas of Cytometry, Microscopy, and Spectrometry. The mission of the Core is to provide analytical, support, and training services to UC laboratories in the East Bay, while also being available to external users on a fee-for-service basis.
